Keeping cool with a little help from a friend: Evanston native Joel Lerner helps his ol' friend, parade official Hillary Bean, cool off a bit before the start of the 2012 Evanston 4th of July parade. Temperatures were reported to be up to 99 degrees F in Evanston. Joel marched with Rotary and covered the parade for the Evanston Review. (His take is online now.) |
